Walker Campaign Releases New Ad: "Working Together"
Author: Nicole.Tieman

[Madison, WI] – The Republican Party of Wisconsin Executive Director, Stephan Thompson, released the following statement today on a new 30 second television ad which will debut during the Green Bay game tonight that features Karin, a mother and current school board member who describes, from her personal perspective, the positive results of Governor Walker's budget reforms:

"In less than a year, Governor Walker's reforms have balanced a $3.6 billion deficit without raising taxes and have created hundreds of millions of dollars in savings for school districts and local governments," said Thompson. "Governor Walker remains focused on unleashing private sector job creation, improving our education system, and helping those in need."

Karin, Mother and School Board Member:

We were worried when the state budget meant there was going to be less money for our school district, and we have 25 schools.

But Governor Walker – he gave us options that reduced our biggest costs so that we could put more money back into our classrooms.

Governor Walker:

"I'm committed to working together to create more jobs, to improve our schools, and to protect our seniors. You know, Wisconsin's best days are yet to come. It won't happen overnight, but we are on our way."
