[Madison, WI] – On Tuesday, President Trump visited Wisconsin once again, this time in West Salem. While in Wisconsin, the President received a key endorsement from the state’s largest business association, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC). The Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt on the endorsement:
“Getting a key endorsement from the state chamber of commerce is proof positive that President Trump’s policies are the best for American workers and businesses. Prior to the unprecedented COVID pandemic, President Trump had our economy booming — unemployment was down, job growth was up, new businesses were being created, and wages were rising.
“The pro-growth policies of the Trump Administration stand in stark contrast to Joe Biden’s leadership as Vice President. Biden oversaw the slowest economic recovery ever and is already campaigning on getting rid of the Trump Tax Cut. America can’t afford to look backward to the days of Biden’s failed economic agenda — we need to move forward and keep America great.”
