Brian Schimming Elected Chairman of RPW December 10, 2022 [Stevens Point, WI]—Veteran political activist and strategist Brian Schimming has unanimously been elected the new chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin at today’s Executive Committee meeting in Stevens Point. “It has been an honor working tirelessly with activists throughout Wisconsin all these years,” Schimming said. “And now I look forward to working side by side with the thousands of grassroots leaders in this state to win Wisconsin for the Republican presidential candidate and elect a conservative to the state Supreme Court. There’s not a moment to waste.” Schimming boasts more than 30 years of experience organizing grassroots efforts and political campaigns throughout Wisconsin, in addition to serving several years in state government. He assumes the role effective immediately. “Brian Schimming is the right person at the right time to lead the Republican Party of Wisconsin,” said Senator Ron Johnson. “Nobody knows the people of this state and the political landscape better, and I look forward to working with Brian and the entire Republican team to secure even more victories in the coming years. I also want to thank Paul Farrow for his successful leadership and tireless service to the Republican Party of Wisconsin.” Said former Chairman Paul Farrow, “I’m delighted to be handing the Chairman’s gavel to such a qualified, energetic leader as Brian, and I know he’ll do an outstanding job of directing the state party through a presidential campaign while our state hosts a national convention. We couldn’t have a better leader at this important time.” Other RPW leaders elected at Saturday’s Executive Committee meeting include First Vice-Chairman Gerard Randall, Second Vice-Chairwoman Kathy Kiernan, Secretary Tyler August, Treasurer Brian Westrate, and Member At-Large Will Martin.
