[Milwaukee, WI] – In case you missed it, on Friday the Republican Party of Wisconsin hosted a grand reopening of our Milwaukee Headquarters — signaling the party’s ongoing commitment to meeting Wisconsinites where they are and sharing our conservative values with every community. We had been operating out of a nearby location while work was being done to the office.
Senator Tim Scott spoke at the event, encouraging grassroots activists to “go where you’re not invited” as Republicans work to spread the conservative message. The headquarters, located on the city’s north side, has operated on a year-round basis since February 2020, and its opening was the first outreach effort of its kind for Republicans in Wisconsin. This headquarters has allowed Republicans to forge relationships and make significant gains in the Black community.

U.S. Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina brought a message to his fellow Republicans in Wisconsin Friday:
“One piece of advice I was given when I was just entering politics was to go where you’re not invited,” Scott told supporters at the reopening of the Republican Party of Wisconsin field office on Milwaukee’s north side.
“Sometimes in order to make the kind of progress that is necessary you have to go where you’re not invited,” he added. “Because when you have a story to tell you can’t really expect them to come where you are. You have to go to where they are.”

Republicans opened the north side office during the 2020 presidential cycle. The facility was vandalized in mid-February that year but remained operational during the campaign.

During his remarks, Scott, the only Black Republican senator, said, “Why haven’t we been sharing the story, the gospel of good news about what we have done on behalf of all Americans?”
Scott added: “We don’t care whether you’re Black or you’re white or you’re Asian or Hispanic. We want to be the most inclusive party because we have created the most inclusive economy the world has ever known.”
