The Marquette Law School Poll Wednesday showed Senator Ron Johnson expanding his lead over Mandela Barnes.
“The more voters hear about Mandela Barnes’ support for defunding police and reducing our prison population by releasing violent criminals, along with his extreme views on abortion, support for the Green New Deal and economic policies that continue to hurt Wisconsinites, the more they see he would do even more damage in Washington than he has done here in Wisconsin,” said Republican Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Chad Doran.
The Marquette poll also showed the race between Tim Michels and Tony Evers continues to be a dead heat. The majority of Wisconsinites continue to disapprove of the job Tony Evers has done, and nearly two-thirds feel the state is heading in the wrong direction thanks to the Evers/Barnes administration.
“Tim Michels has traveled the state bringing a welcome message of fixing the failures of Tony Evers, and attention to the issues of crime, inflation, and education that voters have at the top of their list,” said Doran.
