Wisconsin’s Largest City Hits 192 Homicides Under Democrat Leadership
[Milwaukee, WI] – Wisconsinites are less safe under Democrat leadership. For the second straight year, Milwaukee broke a record for homicides as 192 Wisconsin families grapple with the loss of a loved one.
It’s clear that the Democrat strategy to do nothing while pointing fingers isn’t working. While Joe Biden desperately lays blame on COVID-19 for crime spikes in Democrat-run cities, Wisconsin Democrats are following suit in failing to acknowledge their public safety failures. Over a year into Milwaukee’s historic crime wave, Tony Evers dipped into his taxpayer-funded ARPA slush fund in a last-ditch effort to do damage control before an election year, while Josh Kaul recently blamed the Legislature for his crime lab failures after he spent his 2018 campaign criticizing former Attorney General Brad Schimel for his crime lab performance.
Meanwhile, Mandela Barnes isn’t shying away from his pro-criminal policies as he remains silent on his stance against cash bail while refusing to condemn the “defund the police” movement and celebrating his birthday alongside “defund the police” activists. Evers and Barnes’ anti-police rhetoric already had disastrous consequences in Kenosha, where law enforcement had to ask them to stop fanning the flames of violence.
“While crime continues to rise, Tony Evers, Mandela Barnes, and Josh Kaul continue to point fingers while failing to address their role in fanning the flames of violence,” said Republican Party of Wisconsin Communications Director Anna Kelly. “If Democrats can’t even condemn the ‘defund the police’ movement, why would Wisconsinites expect them to keep the public safe?”
