2004: Congresswoman Tammy Baldwin voted against the H.R. 3722 that would have required hospitals provide accurate reporting on undocumented immigrants receiving care and services.

2006: When given the chance to permit state and local officials to investigate, apprehend, and transfer undocumented immigrants into federal custody, Baldwin refused and voted “Nay” on the Immigration Law Enforcement Act. She also opposed the Secure Fence Act that provided much needed federal funding and authorization for an additional 700 miles of border fencing.

2013: Senator Baldwin voted against the Senate Amendment 1228 that would have required the use of the Department of Homeland Security’s US-VISIT program at all ports of entry into the United States. Baldwin also opposed legislation that would have finished the border fence.
