MADISON, Wis. — The Republican Party of Wisconsin is gearing up for the final stretch of the election by launching the first of three radio ads focused on minority outreach. The first ad will appear in the Milwaukee media market highlighting Jill Underly’s abysmal record with the Department of Public Instruction. The first ad, “12 Percent,” will begin airing today.
All three radio ads highlight the failures of Jill Underly’s tenure as Department of Public Instruction Superintendent.
Specifically, this ad highlights that under Jill Underly’s failed leadership, only 12 percent or nearly 1 out of 10 Milwaukee Public School 4th-grade students are proficient in Math. Jill Underly’s response? Lowering the standards.
“The Republican Party of Wisconsin continues to prioritize minority outreach by sharing our message with voters in all communities across Wisconsin. Under Jill Underly’s failed leadership, only 12% of Milwaukee Public School fourth graders are proficient in math. Brittany Kinser will raise the standards for students across Wisconsin,” said Chairman Brian Schimming
