[Madison, WI] – Designated in 1984, October marks Crime Prevention Month. Unfortunately, this year Wisconsin is suffering from liberal state leadership that enables crime rather than prevents it. Under Tony Evers, Mandela Barnes, and Josh Kaul, Wisconsinites have witnessed historic violence including rising homicide rates, a delayed and inefficient state crime lab, and “defund the police” Democrats fanning the flames of violence instead of protecting Wisconsin families.
The Republican Party of Wisconsin released the following statement from Chairman Paul Farrow:
“This Crime Prevention Month, the Republican Party of Wisconsin is proud to support the brave law enforcement officers and first responders who keep us safe. Unfortunately, public safety has suffered under liberal leaders Tony Evers, Mandela Barnes, and Josh Kaul who fight to protect violent criminals and their far-left base instead of Wisconsin families. From Evers and Barnes fanning the flames of violence in Kenosha to Kaul’s defense of a convicted rapist, Wisconsinites are less safe under Democrats’ absent leadership.”
