WisDems to Hostages: Get Lost

MADISON, Wis. – You can’t make this stuff up.

Less than 48 hours after the rescue of four hostages held captive by Hamas, Wisconsin Democrats willfully dismissed both the victims of October 7th and the plight of the remaining 120 hostages in Gaza.

From WisPolitics:
“Delegates at the Democratic Party of Wisconsin’s state convention backed a resolution calling for a ceasefire in the Israel-Palestine conflict despite opposition from leadership that it failed to mention the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.”

Not only did the resolution ignore October 7th. It also turned a blind eye to the atrocities of Hamas and the hostages still held prisoner by the terrorist organization.

Is it surprising the Wisconsin Democrats would sign off on this resolution? Not really. Senator Tammy Baldwin has a long history of cozying up to Hamas affiliates and echoing their demands. Representative Mark Pocan opposed legislation providing military aid to Israel that would protect civilians from rocket attacks. But it is no less reprehensible.

“The Wisconsin Democrats have sold out and abandoned the remaining 120 hostages kidnapped by Hamas. Come Election Day, voters will hold Democrats accountable for betraying the hostages including five Americans held captive in Gaza.” —WisGOP Chairman Brian Schimming
