[Madison, WI] – In response to Wisconsin Democrats’ two-hour virtual “convention” the Republican Party of Wisconsin issued the following statement from Chairman Andrew Hitt:
“Try as they might to excite their base from their basements, Wisconsin Democrats cannot hide from their increasingly radical policies that are out of touch with Wisconsin families. Wisconsin Democrats’ virtual ‘convention’ format conveniently lets them and their presidential nominee hide from cries to defund the police, their blatant lack of transparency and their disastrous record of failing Wisconsin. While Democrats try to rally themselves behind a nominee they can’t get excited about, longing for the days of Bernie Sanders’ support from establishment Democrats, Republicans in Wisconsin are ready to re-elect President Donald J. Trump.”
